My new hometown

Hi there!

So you found my blog? Well, actually this is a blog about my new hometown, Tetuán, in Morocco. I've been living here since June 2005 and I'm totally in love with this city! You'll soon see why...
My name is Nejma and I visited Tetuán for the first time in 1988 I think. Well, I have to admit that I was not at all impressed by the city. I thought it was a small, dirty city with annoying people trying to sell a lot of knick knack to me... Then in 1989 I met my husband, a tetuaní, and I visited Tetuán again. And then I realised that what I had seen on my first visit was just a tiny bit of the city and needless to say, one of the oldest and dirtiest parts. Since than I've visited Tetuán about 20 times and for each time my love has grown. And now I think this is a perfect place to live in. *lol*

Tetuán has it all - mountains and beaches, good shopping, history, culture... And except for November - February, the weather is nice - sunny but not too hot. This is the Mediterranean at its best!

Unfortunatelly not many forreign tourists have found Tetuán yet. And most people who do just travel by, on their way to Chauen, Marrakech or other cities. I hope you'll enjoy my blog and the photos. I love taking photos and there are always interesting things to photograph.

B'slama, which means Good Bye in Moroccan Arabic.

It looks very beautiful, indeed. Mediterrenean Sea is beautiful, in north and south alike. Nothing can be compared to that!! :) I hope you enjoy it a lot!
